About Jennie and Jason
In August of 2007 Jason's PC and Jennie's Mac set them up on a blind date. Jason asked her to lunch. She graciously accepted, and despite a few well publicized, grossly exaggerated miscues on Jason's part, the lunch went incredibly well. So well in fact that the lunch turned into a movie. The movie turned into more dates, and here we are.
Jennie came to the relationship with her furry herd: Figgy the Boston Terrier, and her two obscenely large cats, Houdini and Philo.
Jason added his Golden Lab, Princess (who passed with the new year), and a gaggle of cats: Chili, Bug, Tux, and Cali (who also passed last fall).
In a move that made everyone question their sanity they managed to add Cinder the mutt, Churchill the St. Bernard, and Boo the deaf Boston Terrier to their motley crew.
More importantly, Jason brought to the relationship his 3 kids: Asher (17). Riley (15), and Amethyst (12).
Jason and Jennie have spent the last 4 years living in beautiful Heber Valley, Utah, escaping on occasion to go to Tetonia, Idaho; Ojai, California; and a wonderful trip to Maui.
They have engaged fully in their passions of yoga, painting, reading, writing, walks in the stunning beauty of Heber valley, Tarot, numerology, and cooking.
On April 10th Jason got down on one knee in Jennie's parent's backyard and asked her to marry him. Jennie said yes. Immediately following this they had to wrangle Figgy the Boston Terrier in order to cut the ring off her collar before she managed to lose it in some remote corner of the yard.
On September 10th, 2011, Jennifer Ann Stanchfield and Jason Francis Smith will be wed in Deer Valley Utah.
